Calcium silicon,silicon calcium,CaSi
Both Calcium(Ca) and Silicon(Si) have very strong chemical affinity for Oxygen.
Especially calcium,has strong chemical affinity not only for Oxygen, but also for Sulphur and Nitrogen. This is why Calcium Silicon (CaSi) usually works as an ideal composite deoxidant and desulphurizer.
Calcium Silicon (CaSi) has strong deoxidation,separating the deoxidized matters easily from the oxide of calcium and silicon, thus the desired matters are easily discharged and obtained. This method can greatly raise the performance of steel in terms of plasticity, toughness and liquidity.
